HK BLUE BOOK
Beside functioning as an ongoing eyewear campaign 'The Blue Book' by Han Kjøbenhavn offers a captivating glimpse into the Copenhagen youth cultural scene from 2018-21. I have documented over 100 cultural entrepreneurs from our local community, showcasing faces of Copenhagen's art, music, nightlife, bipoc, activists, queer, trans, and fashion scenes.
'The Blue Book' features mugshots and never-before-published behind-the-scenes images, accompanied by unique stories that shed light on the individuals behind each face. All 100+ people featured in the publication have at some point passed by a small photo booth machine located on the old train station in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. This cultural documentation serves as a tribute to those who contributed to keeping the city alive during those years, representing a generation and their stories.
